Learning objectives
The Seasonal School will introduce participants to textile-based robotics, providing them with interdisciplinary tools to design robots based on textiles, leveraging the unique properties of these materials and combining engineering, biomechanical, clinical, and regulatory aspects. This objective will be pursued through a mix of theoretical lessons accompanied by hands-on laboratory activities.

Teaching methodologies
Participants will have the opportunity to tackle the scientific, clinical, and engineering challenges of textile robotics. Through interaction with experts in the field and hands-on activities, they will gain a systemic perspective that combines advanced materials, biomechanics, control, and regulatory aspects for the creation of intelligent wearable technologies.

Target participants
Undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students from different backgrounds (e.g. engineering, design, mathematics, physics, computer sciences, medicine, sport sciences, physiotherapy) who are interested in wearable robotics, the innovative materials that compose them and their application for motor assistance and rehabilitation.
